In the "Library", we present materials that interfere with historical dances, detailed descriptions of dancing compositions, articles and books on methodologies of teaching, performing etc. In this section, you will find mostly articles translated to Russian by our teachers and pupils or compilations and exclusively written articles by our colleagues from their approval.

It historically became so, that the number of materials on historical dances in English, Italian, French and other languages is much greater than this in Russian. Therefore, this section currently has only materials in Russian, to complement this lack of information.

We ask you to treat with respect the results of work of many people, who try their best to publish as many materials as possible on the topic you are interested. So, when you quote any materials from the sections "Dances descriptions" or "Articles", please make appropriate links to the authors of the material and to the related pages of our site (in cases, when we publish original versions or materials form other sites, that is always noted, please give links on those sites).

In the "Books" section, we publish books, which we digitized, after getting them from the open sources, or books open state of which was approved with authors. In cases, when you are an author of any book or have copyrights on the published materials and have any issues on the fact of publishing, please contact us by email: info@historicaldance.spb.ru. In addition, we ask you not to copy the full text of materials from the "Books" section, but, instead, just quote the required phrases, noticing the source of the material. Thank you for cooperation.
